The Flying Bulgar Klezmer Band

Formed by renowned trumpeter /composer David Buchbinder in 1987, The Flying Bulgars have toured Europe and and North America bringing their sophisticated arrangements and Klezmer soul to the traditional repertoire. Using jazz, salsa, rock and folk idioms, The Flying Bulgars have become Canada’s most popular band making annual appearances at the Ashkenaz Festival in Toronto to more than 50,000 fans.
